Coming by Air?
San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Oakland International Airport (OAK), and Sacramento International Airport (SAC), are the closest major airports to Napa.
Rental Car
If you are flying in, renting a car at the airport is the best and easiest way to get to Napa and will give you maximum flexibility to explore the wine country. Most major rental car agencies are available at all three airports.
Driving from San Francisco to Napa is an easy and pleasant trip; the town is located 40 miles north of San Francisco proper, and 60 miles from SFO and OAK. From San Francisco International Airport to downtown Yountville, it is approximately an hour and 20 minute drive.

Transportation is provided to and from SFO. A one-way fee is $29 for shuttle service and $240 for a private car. Reservations should be made 24 hours in advance, but if space is available, they will accommodate last minute riders.

24-hour reservations are necessary. $250 one way to or from SFO, Sacramento Airport, and the Oakland airport.
Elite Limousine Service (707) 265-8777
24-hour reservations are preferable, but they will accommodate a couple of hours notice to the best of their availability. They offer sedan or limousine service to all major airports in the Bay Area. A sedan to or from SFO, Oakland or Sacramento airports is $200. For Saturday travel, their rates increase, and availability is limited.
Once You’ve Arrived…
- Friday Night Welcome Party – transportation will be provided to and from the Silverado hotel. As weekend evenings are busy in Yountville, we encourage you to carpool or use a local taxi service if you are not on a shuttle from the hotel.
- Wedding Ceremony & Reception – we are providing shuttle van service to and from the wedding. Vans will pick-up and drop-off at the Villagio and Silverado hotels. You may drive your own car to the ceremony site if you prefer.
